How do I record my personalised greeting?
As soon as you book we send you a link to our recording portal. You simply record using any device and we load into your Audio Guest Book prior to dispatch.
You can record and submit as many as you like and we will load the latest recording you submit.
You have up until 11 days prior to your wedding date to record and submit your personalised greeting. We will remind you to submit a greeting as your big day gets closer. If you don’t submit a greeting or wish not to record one, we will load a generic one on your behalf.
Do I need to charge or plug in my audio guestbook phone?
No your phone is all ready to go as soon as it arrives. There is no external cords or power banks cramping your style!
Every Audio Guest Book is delivered fully charged with 45+ hours of battery life.
Just in case you have a week long event we also provide you a USB charging cable and it only takes 5 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent.
How do I set up my Audio Guestbook phone?
Take it out of the box and press on!
There is no ugly power bank or cords to contend with.
Your Audio Guestbook is delivered fully charged and loaded with your personalised greeting. Once turned on, guests only need to pick up the phone and leave a message after hearing your greeting.
You will still receive set-up instructions and we are available for phone support 7 days a week.
How do I receive my Audio Guestbook Phone and how do I return it?
If you are located in Mount Gambier, we can deliver it to you the day before your event.
If you are from Mount Gambier but your event is taking place elsewhere, we can sort out for you to receive your Hotline Cameo Phone earlier too!
Your Audio Guestbook is shipped out so it arrives at least 2 days before your event. If we have your phone back from our last booking we can ship it out even earlier.
For returns, if your wedding is Thursday - Saturday we get you to put it in the post the following Monday. For Monday-Wednesday weddings, it's 2 days after your event.
If we don't have a booking straight away we can allow you a bit longer to send it back. So we keep in touch closer to the date to work out a plan to make things as easy as possible for you.
It works well to give it to a trusted friend or family member to return if you're going away after. That’s what your wedding crew are for, right?
How will we receive our messages?
All packages include a digital copy of your audio guest book messages shared through an online private gallery for you to easily download.
The digital file will feature a personalised cover photo of your choice from your event.
You also have the option of adding-on a personalised vinyl record which is the ultimate wedding/event keepsake. This comes under our Deluxe Audio Guestbook Hire Package.
It will include a custom vinyl of all the audio guestbook messages left at your event, delivered to you in your very own custom album cover that you can put on display!
Do the audio guestbooks require Wifi or any cords to work?
Nope! Our Audio Guestbooks are free standing and provided to you with a full battery ready to party!
They don’t need wifi or phone service so you can put them anywhere. (Not in or near water though… they aren’t very good swimmers…)
Our battery life is over 48 hours too so they won’t run out either! However we do deliver all of our phones with a charging cable just incase!
How many messages can the Hotline Cameo Audio Guestbooks hold?
Our audio guestbooks have got 200+ minutes of recording space so there’s plenty of room for messages and you won’t miss a thing. We’re really good listeners.
How early is too early to book my Audio Guestbook?
We run as a ‘first in best dressed’ type of service so the earlier the better!
We would hate for you to miss out on booking us for your event or missing out on the colour phone you wish to have.
Do I put the date of my event or the date that I wish to receive the phone when booking?
Put your party date and we’ll do the calculations to make sure your audio guest book arrives at least 2 days before your event.
If you have a destination wedding and are going away earlier, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do to get your audio guest book to you in time.
How will my guests know how to leave a message?
Your Audio Guest Book is delivered with stylish ‘How to leave a message’ signage.
Does the Audio Guestbook require a security deposit?
Yes! We require a $100 security deposit at the time of booking.
This $100 security deposit is not included in the package price above. So for example it will be $100 security deposit and $200 for hire if you select the Audio Guestbook Package.
You will get back the $100 security deposit once we have reviewed and confirmed that our audio guestbook has returned back to us in good working condition, ready for the next customer to enjoy and use at their event!
